Requirements for FBA Products Sold as New
Amazon Requirements for FBA Products Sold as New
Please note: All products forwarded through Selltec Prep will be graded in accordance with Amazon standards and descriptions
In order for your product to be sold as “New” on Amazon, whether as Labeled Inventory or Stickerless Commingled, it must arrive at the fulfillment center in good condition and without defects.
Amazon’s world-class customer service depends on the quality of products we deliver. Not only will customers benefit, but so will you. For example, if your outer shipping boxes arrive at the fulfillment center with visible damage, they may be rejected.
Products listed as “New”
- Items sold as “New” need to be in brand new, unused condition.
- Items sold in “New” condition will be inspected and marked as Unsellable if there are scratches, scuffs, dents, wear, creases, tears, or more beyond what is considered to be acceptable for a new item.
Products listed as “Used”
Items sold as “Used” will be inspected and will only be moved to Unsellable if they are deemed to be unsuitable, e.g. not fit for purpose, parts missing, unusable, unhygienic, etc.
Most carriers assume limited liability for damage or loss in transit, depending on the cause. If your products are damaged during transit, we recommend filing a damage claim with your carrier. Amazon is not responsible for damage during shipment to us.
